National Bestseller—Over 25,000 copies sold in Canada

“From Babes to Pinkos, this is the CanCon book that we’ve all dreamed of reading in our dens, hot tubs and jails. It’s fun, incredibly well-researched and gives you a real sense of celebration.”—Atom Egoyan

“Not to put too fine a point on it, Mondo Canuck is simply Mondo Mondo.”
—Mary Walsh, This Hour Has 22 Minutes

“Encyclopedic and eclectic, and written in the true Canadian-comic style, i.e., equal parts laughing resignation, and snarling indignation.”—Sean Kelly, former “Canadian Corner” columnist for National Lampoon

“The first work to take Canadian culture seriously enough to trash some national treasures and dig the treasures out of the nation’s trash, Mondo Canuck marks Canada’s pop cultural coming of age.”
—Naomi Klein, Toronto Star
